Months 3 & 4

He has fingers there somewhere... and I'm pretty sure he has a neck...

By 3 months this Wiggly child of ours:
- has rolled over! He's still not consistent with it but he will surprise us every now and then by ending up on his back while on his tummy. He does not care to go from back to tummy.
- Laughs so much! His Uncle Nick can get him to giggle probably more than anyone. Besides me of course!
- has gone to the swimming pool and a hike with mom and dad.
- has no interest in sleeping much. Praying it changes soon...
- has tried sitting in his Bumbo for the first time. He doesn't love it.

 Loving life in his carrier!

He is so sweet and goofy! I just love his face so much!

Owen surprised Jake with gifts for his birthday when he got home from work!

Grandma has the magic touch! Thanks Kathy for watching him while we celebrated Jake's big 2-6!

Baby Free Birthday Dinner with my favorite. He makes 26 look so good!

Trying to flash gang signs with Mommy!

He is completely adored by his cousins!

By 4 months this Silly child of ours:
- has gotten pretty clingy to Jake and I. He gets stranger anxiety pretty bad.
- has started to grabbing everything in sight, and straight to his mouth it goes.
- drools like a crazed man. No teeth, but he is definitely showing signs of it.
- has been sleeping a little bit better (knock on wood) We average waking up only about 2-3 times a night. Woo!
-finds the most random things funny, like a dog barking or paper tearing.
- had his second round of shots. :( poor babes. I want to make Jake take him next time. My heart can't take that cry. It's only for a few seconds, but it makes me feel like a terrible parent.
- weighs 25.25 lbs (59 %) and is 26.3 (91%) inches tall!
- is still as happy as ever. He's always just waiting for something or someone to make him smile.
- got a new sweet little cousin!
- has started showing interest in food. We're going to still hold off on introducing solids to him for another month or so, but he seems to want it already.

 Modeling at the Doctor's office

Meet our new Niece, Eva Kate Bond. She is so perfect!

 He loves his baths

For my Birthday we decided to go visit my friend Lindsey and her family in Reno again. Of course we had to go to Lake Tahoe while there! Thanks for everything Linds. You guys are always so fun to stay with!
He did amazing on his first road trip!

This picture almost makes Reno look exciting. :)
I absolutely love this lake. It's never a bad time here.

We have the cutest old man baby. Hands down.

There was a huge fire in California and all the smoke made the sky pretty crappy a couple of days there. So instead of spending another day as planned at Lake Tahoe, we decided to head up to Virginia City. Jake was excited because it was one of the places featured on Ghost Adventures. We checked out the the Old Washoe Club and the Silver Queen Hotel.

 My little Napping partner.

Just thieving his cousin's Binky.

He loves his new hat from Grandma! Thanks Mom.

I constantly take pictures of him while I sit in the back with him. He's over it.

I walked in on my boys playing with his soccer ball. Times like this melt my heart. It's amazing seeing Jake just being a dad. They both have so much fun together.

Obviously based on my posts, Owen is the absolute center of my universe. He has made me beyond happy in the past 4 months. My family just feels so much more complete with him in our home. I can't even imagine life without him anymore. It's so cliche'... but there's a reason it's a cliche'. Right? Right. There are however other things going on in our lives other than him. Jake has started his very last semester of college! We could not be any more excited. I'm so proud of everything he has accomplished. Come mid December Jake will be a College grad and I'll be able to spend time with my husband for more than 3 hours a day! I usually go about 11-13 hours a day without him because of work and school. I'm so done with feeling like a single parent!

We've also moved out of our duplex...
I guess I can't stay in a place for longer than a year. We now live in a 3 bedroom apartment in Bluffdale. We figured it would be the perfect location for school and work for Jake. I refuse to be any closer to Happy Valley Provo, so Bluffdale it is. Besides, it's right next to Ikea, so I'm pretty ok with that. We absolutely love our new apartment. It's so much nicer from where we moved from. I definitely wont miss the hundreds of bugs that plagued our duplex. That's the price you pay for practically living in the woods. Between all the beetles, centepedes, and all the spiders, the 3rd momma Wolf Spider with 100+ babies on her back confirmed that we really needed to get out of that place. (my skin is still crawling from thinking of all the bugs)

Goodbye Spider Dear. I will not be missing you.
