My best friend in the world is getting married at the end of this month! I could not be more happy for her. Last weekend my dear sweet lovely husband allowed me to celebrate her bachelorette party in NY! She lives in Arizona and I haven't seen her since my wedding. It was so fun to see her in the city we got to know each other. :) There were 7 of us all together and it was crazy but fun. There was so much to do and cram into in just 2 and a half days! I took a red eye and was ridiculously tired most of friday... I was a bore. :( After finally getting us all into our limo and figuring out our whole hotel fiasco we went to have some lunch at the Spotted Pig. The trip was pretty much a food trip for us. We're all fatties.
The 3 musketeers ♥
Om nom nom nom nommmmm
Then we made a stop at the amazing Magnolia Bakery! (Just be ready for a lot of food pics)
Which was across the street form Marc Jacobs new book store Book Marc. Such a cute little store. We spent a while in there. After wandering around for a while we decided it was time to head back to the hotel to get ready for the night. Once we were all glamorized we went to Bobby Flay's restaurant Bar Americain. I got the Smoked Chicken and it was amazing! Birtt opened her presents there which included candy cuffs, cute lingerie, Kama sutra games, and granny panties! Not a bad night.
Saturday, after some much needed sleep, we woke up and headed to Donut Planet for breakfast. I recommend the peanut butter and jelly filled square donut and the coconut creme donut. Seriously though... the coconut creme was better than sex... kinda. Then we went shopping all over the place! All stores in New York are amazing. Even if we have the same store in Utah it is nothing like New York's version of it. Heaven! While the rest of the girls were shopping in Zara, Krista and I want for a walk around Bryant Park and found an amazing bakery called Crumbs and we shared an amazing cheesecake filled brownie cupcake. Yes please.
(not even close to done talking about the food we ate!)
We decided to save some money due to the other restaurants being somewhat pricey and go to chipotle for lunch. (a NY tradition for Britt, Krista, and I) We took it to Grand Central station to eat it in the food court at the bottom. Britt's friend Sarah was the only one who hasn't been to New York before so she wanted to see Grand Central, so we stayed and played for a while.
Hottest group of girls Ever!
Super excited I'm in NY and that I got some sleep!
After more shopping we decided to get ready and eat some NY pizza for dinner and Serendipity for dessert! There really isn't much better than Serendipity's Frozen Hot Chocolate. Brit and I blissed out to the Chocolate Peanut Butter one and of course had to have the chocolate blackout cake to go with it. Another recommendation!
I spy Mint Frozen Hot Chocolate in the back. mmmmmmmm
Our Matching Shirts! (don't ask what we're doing)
With all that food in our bellies we slept well that night. :)
Sunday we got up and Britt, Krista, and I want to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Our happy zen place. Britt is an Art History major and would have been happy if she never left. It's such an amazing building. That was one of the places I missed most about living there. And I had my first NYC hot dog from a stand in front. Woot!
Me, Justin Bieber, Brittany. :)
I made sure we went to Rockefeller Plaza! I had to see the 30 Rock sign. Jake and I love that show oh so much. I also watch the Today show almost every morning.

Happy wedding Britt! I love you!
We ended the trip by walking around Times Square sense our hotel was so close. The very last place we stopped at was the Hershey's store... and I like it like that.
Girl version of the naked cowboy... Sick
I spy Hershey's (but more importantly Reese's) store.
Jake's Present I brought back for him!
It was an amazing trip and I'm glad I got to get away with my friends! I hope one day in the distant future Jake and I can go together. Maybe when the weather is a bit warmer? Yes.
For now we'll be heading to California this weekend for our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! What the what? Where has the time gone? I can't wait to celebrate our 1 yr. in Disneyland with the love of my life! 2 weeks after we'll be heading to Arizona for Brittany and Merek's WEDDING!!! There is so much to do to get ready for that trip but I'm so excited for them and I can't wait to see them married!!! Oh and did I mention we're going to a Mumford concert with them right after the reception? Yeah be jealous!
