We got a 'Situation' here...

Seeing as how Jen last posted about our obsession with reality TV I decided to add a new one to my favorites...MTV's The Jersey Shore starring the man I admire and strive to become the most, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino. The show's a terrific car wreck from start to finish, ya know, one of those shows that you can't stop watching because its so ridiculous.

The program consists of 8 horribly stereotypical east coast Italian-American college drop-outs that live for the summer in a done up MTV party house on the Jersey shore. As with any MTV series, they chose the cream of the crop with these people, the king of them all being my boy The Situation.

Why do I love this man?... Let's start with a few quotes:

- "You better be hittin' the gym and if you're not hittin' the gym for like an hour or so, you know, you may have a problem. Okay, cause I'm at the gym for like an hour-and-a-half... ya know? Workin' on my fitness."

- "I got girls back here almost every night, there's not a time that I don't have girls coming back. Girls love The Situation."

- "With me and Sam, it's not a matter of if she wants to hook up with me; it's a matter of just when I decide."

- "Everybody loves me, babies, dogs, ya know, hot girls, cougars. I just have unbelievable mass appeal."

- "You can hate on me all you want to, but what can you possibly say to somebody that looks like Rambo, pretty much, with his shirt off."

Now that you have caught a glimpse of The Situation, you can see why he's an admiral candidate for the Best Tool in the World and I guess for some reason I'm infatuated with shows starring major morons (ex. Zak Bagins..see last post.) I'm thinking about doing a Best Tools on TV Awards sometime so stay tuned to this blog.

With these steroid saturated, sex charged, fake tanned, idiots I can't see another reality show topping the Jersey Shore and I thank you MTV for making me laugh with your many showings of re-runs. If you keep popping out shows like this we may be in a good 'Situation'.
