The Biggest Loser
We can't get enough of watching this show as we sit on our butts stuffing our faces with our latest purchase from the nearest fast-food joint. I think it secretly makes us feel better about ourselves until one day we turn around and are on there... couples edition of course... sadly we've actually considered eating enough to be on that show. I'm kidding about it. I hope Jake is too. As of right now I'm not completely loving anyone this season. The couples are just way fat and boring... Jake's partial to the Polynesians... and the Italians. I'm in it to see the drastic changes... hoping one of them will work their way into my heart... The red team is almost there. Yeah welcome to our world.
Jake's Favorite show, by far, would be Ghost Adventures staring the biggest tool in the world... He really has worked hard to earn this title.

If that picture isn't proof enough of his tool-ness then watch the show sometime. You'll not be disappointed. I'm not sure what it is but Jake has 2 major obsessions.
1. Ghosts/paranormal
2. Zombies
He's always looking for something that has to do with either. Ghost Adventures has been his favorite so far... We've gone through Paranormal State, Ghost Lab, and Ghost Hunters/GHI as well. I also woke up from my sunday nap to him watching a new one called Psychic Kids.
This one is pretty uninteresting, but Jake has seen all the Ghost Adventures and keeps looking for something to fill the void. All of them scare me though. Not while watching it, but I hate going home alone after watching them with him. Another reason why marriage will be bliss! I'd have to say I'm more into TLC with the midgets and 2 ton virgins. The Food Network is usually a good choice... Really not kidding though. If there is a show on Television me and Jake have probably seen it. No Channel is immune. One day we dream of getting off the couch and accomplishing something. Jake did surprise me today when he told his sister that one of our goals was to run a 5k... I didn't know that was my goal... I haven't seen Jake run in almost a year. (We're swimmers when we go to the gym) I'm pumped to see him train... he did say in his lifetime though... so he has a while. Way to set long term goals Berbeh! (yes we do know how short a 5k is. This his how pathetic we really are.)
If we run into any other shows praise worthy we'll let you know!
bahahahaha you and Jake sound EXACTLY like Merek and I. Merek's new life goal is to do a shoot for Zak, Nick and Aaron.. haha. And we've checked out Paranormal State as well. We've even looked at buying a starter ghost hunting kit. haha.. I need to check out the Paranormal Kids show!!! Can the four of us go on a ghost tour?? Please?!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Love this post! I totally agree with you about Biggest Loser this season. I don't have a favorite yet. Curt likes the polynesians too for some reason, but I don't know why. We should get together and watch Biggest Loser together. Curt and I always eat popcorn and candy while we watch and then say things like "how did they let themselves get that big" and then laugh because we are just sitting on the couch eating junk. I had no idea Jake was into ghost stuff, that is funny.
ReplyDeleteI love reality tv too! It is a guilty pleasure of mine.. I also do not have a favorite this season of Biggest Loser but I also love just seeing the transformations! Do you watch The Bachelor? Oh and I can totally relate to Jake with the whole paranormal stuff. My bro got me into all of that. We watched like every episode of Ghost Hunters. I love it! haha
ReplyDeleteSo good to know that there are other people out there that are love reality tv as much as us. Makes me feel less like a loser. I think the funniest is when jake askes me if I want to play his zombie game on xbox with him. I think it would be better than christmas for him if I said yes. hahaha he's so funny.
