So Owen is almost 2 1/2 months already! He's getting so so big. At his 2 month check up he was 12 lbs 4 oz and 24.5 inches. He's in the 94 percentile for his height. I forget how young he is sometimes because of how big he has gotten. He's such a happy baby and I couldn't be more in love with him. Here are some pictures from the last 2 months. There are A LOT!
Because we're poor we had to do his infant pictures ourselves. These were done 5 days after he was born. Our little old man!

5/1 - Being burped. Smallest Head Ever!
His first time going outside. He held this face for the whole 5 min we were out there. He never cried... just made this face. He's not a fan of brightness.
So TINY. His legs hung over the edge of this napper 3 weeks ago and we had to put it away. He looks so much like his daddy's baby pictures here!
I thought this picture of him was so cute, then Jake said that he looked like Mother Teresa...
He loves bath time! It always calms him down.
1 MONTH!
By 1 month this Sweet child of ours:
-smiled at us for the first time. He loves when we tickle his lips.
-has taught us what sleep deprivation really is.
-lost all the hair on the top of his head.
-hates his car seat unless it's being swung, or unless the car is going. The second we stop at a red light he will cry until we start driving again.
-is so alert! He was born alert and always gets comments by others on how alert he is.
-has started getting his tears! I hate it! It makes his crying that much harder to deal with. :(
-is so expressive! He has so many facial expressions! I love it!
-has made us happier than we could ever imagine!
I love his little face so much!
6/1 His first public appearance was my niece Erika's Baptism
I missed the 1 month mark on doing these pictures with this blanket so I'll just start at 2! :) Lame, I know.
By 2 months this Handsome child of ours:
- is getting so strong! He's always trying to stand already. He can bear all his weight on his legs, just doesn't have the balance. He's been able to hold his head up pretty well since birth.
-has for sure brown eyes. We've been waiting to see what color they would change to!
-has discovered his hands and gnaws on them all the time.
-is still trying to figure out sleep, but only eats once during the night.
-no longer goes cross eyed, and no wandering eye either! Yay!
-got his first set of shots :(
-has started to make a few different noises and squeals when he gets excited.
-still hates his car seat.
-loves when I read to him! He, without fail, will smile and squeal while I'm reading, even if he's in the middle of crying. It's like magic!
-has started spitting up a lot! He has started going through 3 outfits a day, and that's including me putting bib after bib on him.
-wakes up smiling 95% of the time. He's such a happy baby!
-loves his changing table and getting his diaper changed. After changing his diaper, I could leave him on the table forever and he would be happy. For some reason he thinks it's so funny.
This one was just taken yesterday 7/11/13 (He does the hand on the knee thing a lot!)
I just love all of his silly/sweet/ridiculously cute faces!
That's our little guys first 2 months in a nutshell. He has made our lives so much better and I love watching him grow, even though I think it's way too fast!
