Ornaments

Thanks to {Pinterest} I was inspired to make these ornaments two weeks ago. My love for Burlap hasn't faded so when I saw these I was excited. There was no tutorial for how to make them so I just did my own thing. Pretty easy stuff though. I just grabbed some dark burlap, drop cloth, my hot glue gun, some modge podge, glitter spray, a book and a few glass globes. For the burlap and drop cloth ornaments I just cut them into skinny strips and hot glued them from bottom to top. I made cute tags to go on them by cutting out mini tags with my Cricut and ran 'em through a printer, then aged them with an ink pad and a few Q tips. I love how they turned out! The book ornaments I made by just cutting out different shapes of paper of a book and modge podging then to the globe. After they dried I sprayed them with glitter. (my spray paint skills need more work than I like to admit, my glitter may or may not be evenly distributed) I also cut our wedding announcement in strips and rolled them up and put them into a globe. Cheesy but I love it. :)
