Is it August yet?

I don't really know where I'm going with this post. I just know that it needs to happen. I just wanted to let everyone know that we're alive and kicking... Barely. I feel like we've been such drones the past couple of weeks. Jake started school again this month and has been doing that full time along with working full time. Work has been crazy for me, now that the weather has finally decided to get warm I've been staying late trying to get caught up every night pretty much. School and work! Blah! We're so so boring, but love spending the little time we have with each other. (Master chef anyone?... but seriously Gordon Ramsey is our hero) Tonight I made some amazing Spam for Jake for the first time. I almost fell over when he told me a while ago that he'd never tried it before. I grew up on the stuff and love it! Judge me if you must. Tonight was the night I was going to show Jake what he'd been missing out on... it was a success. He's a fan! (really what doesn't he like?)

It was all in prep for our upcoming trip to HAWAII!!! Jake has yet to visit Hawaii in his life so I thought I'd also introduce him to that as well. And if you've ever been to Hawaii you'd know that spam is a regular on any real Hawaiian restaurant menu, along with rice. We need to prepare ourselves to gain at least 10 lbs and also for Jake to meet my Mom for the first time. It's going to be an interesting trip... but we're crazy excited! Sunshine, waterfalls, hiking in the forest, snorkeling, getting spoiled by my mom, laying out by the ocean... if we have to. :) We're nice enough to let my brother Nathan tag along with us. (I'm glad Jake loves my family because they are ALWAYS around!) Can August 27th be here already? Until then we'll be doing school and work. Until the day we die. poop.

Also I went through our phones and found some pictures we had from this month. Just thought I'd share. (I'd rather do this than watch Storage Wars with Jake... I will never understand some of the shows he loves. If anyone can explain to me why someone would like to watch that, Pawn Stars, Hard Core Pawn, or Dual Survival please do.)

For work a few weeks ago Jake spent the day at a golf course and saw some interesting characters.

Oh yeah I guess I forgot to mention my Dad was married (let's hope for the last time...) this past weekend. Nathan didn't show up though because he was too busy playing basketball in Cedar City and because of that his car exploded...

I'm glad I went. I don't need that kind of Karma. But if anyone knows where he could buy a cheap car that would be nice. Ok I'm tired. Good Night.
