Welst, obviously, Christmas has come and past and I figured the cool thing to do is to blog about it. Like every poor newlywed couple, we set a strict cheap budget before hand on how much we were going to spend but being that this holiday is our favorite we spent way too much money. And when I say way I mean WAY. A few weeks before Christmas I got my beautiful wife an amazing king sized bed (let's be honest, it was for me as well...our normal full bed wasn't cutting it any more, yeah we slept on a full.) And then for me, my gorgeous wife bought a new MacBook Pro...it's exquisite...and oh no, it didn't end there. I surprised her with a nice Nikon SLR camera that she's been wanting...aint nothing too fancy but it almost made her cry. Oh, she also got me some business socks that I needed. All in all we had a great first christmas with a lot gifts and even more credit card debt, but totally worth it. Here's a couple amazing pictures for you all:
Me basking in the glory that is Christmas.
Our new room-sized bed
In the end, Christmas was a success. Then it was time to bring in the new year. We decided to go down to the little town of Heber and party with some friends. Even though it was just a few of us and it was a quiet New Years we had a good time.
The gang, man we're so cool
Excuse the drunk face, I just like to call it my party face
Our first married New Years kiss.
(Gotta love the curtains that look like an 80's backdrop)
Just a great way to end our first year married.
