I don't know why it has taken me so long to post this, but I'm sure the 3 people that read this blog will forgive me. {Thank you 3 people} My wonderful Husband turned 24 this month and I've loved celebrating it with him and our friends and family. Being the SWEET wife I am, I allowed him to get season tickets for the BYU football season. (I will not be attending them with him, part of that present will be me not embarrassing him by going with him all dressed in red.) So thank you BYU for sucking and having such cheap season tickets... You made it easy to make my Love happy :) I successfully made my first fondant birthday cake to celebrate with his friends.

I'm glad we were able to get together with a few of our friends to celebrate. It gave me reason to make a cute little cake. I made the Fondant myself using This Marshmallow Fondant Recipe. It was surprisingly pretty good "Fondantly" speaking. It's not perfect but I'm proud of how it turned out! Later that week my family took us out to eat to celebrate. I would be shocked if he chose any other place other than the Cheesecake Factory. I love that I get treated too when he has a birthday! If you haven't tried the Sweetcorn Tamale Cake appetizer, you should. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. {♥mmmmmm}

Sorry for the crappy camera phone pictures, we never remember a camera. boo us. We're going to count Hawaii as our Birthday present sense it's between both our days of birth. Best present to ourselves ever! Less than 2 weeks! We can do this! I CANNOT WAIT!
